Q. Flaxen is accepted, but flaxen carriers are not?
A. This is correct; we accept the horses that show they are flaxen horses. Carriers do not show that they are flaxen, and there is no real life test for this gene. We specifically do not accept carriers because of a poll that the members decided upon. We understand that this may exclude some horses, however we will not be changing this rule. We hope you understand.

Q. Can you accept ________ horse breed if it has a dilute base coat?
A. We allow all natural horse breeds, and many unnatural breeds. You must show the horse's genotypes, this is the deciding factor in acceptance. If they aren't accepted we will let you know why and what you can to to fix it.

Q. Can I join even if I’m a private stable?
A. Yes! Your stable does not have to be registered to any group to join this group.

Q. Are Dilutes + Gray counted in the group?
A. Yes they are.

Q. Can I do art for someone else?
A. Yes! Gifts, trades, collaborations, prize art, and trade art have their own points. Commissions count for full points.

Q. How come my background counts only on a single image?
A. For backgrounds drawn with multiple images like comics and ads it will only count as one background. This is to help maintain point structure, so you can only claim 2 points for a full page.

Q. When calculating points given by diluted foals, do you only count direct offspring or can you count grand (and great grand, etc) offspring as well?
A. We count all descendants, as long as they are an acceptable color.

Q. I got a horse from someone, why can’t I use his or her artwork for points?
A.  You can, however, you must show proof of ownership. We request that you include transfer of ownership snapshot or other proofs when sending in a point note.

Q. I have to send in proof of the points before registering my PGB horse?
A. Yes, we want to help make sure that your horse is accurate and that it has completed the required points to gain ranks in our group. You do not HAVE to use the point system though.

Q. What’s up with the PGB references and re-using art?
You do not have to make new art for the PGB references, you may include an already used artwork for the horse if you so choose. Be sure it complies with the other rules of using the PGB reference though, because we want to accept all PGB horses the first time around.
